Life has been handing out lemons left, right and centre for the last 18 months, and we’ve all been doing our best to make the most of it. And now we’re here with more, but the good kind!

We have teamed up with YUME, Melbourne Farmers Market and Moving Feast and secured a whole bunch of lemons for only $1.40 per kg!!

As a result of the disastrous storms that hit Southern Victoria in June, many farmers experienced significant damage to their crops. That’s exactly what happened to Joe, a 4th generation farmer in the Yarra Valley, who was forced to salvage as many lemons as possible from his damaged young lemon trees. Melbourne Farmers Market heard of this situation through YUME and jumped at the opportunity to rescue the lemons which otherwise would have been destined for landfill.
